6 stabbed 2 dead in camden

Image result for closed youth centresaccording to the bbc there has been six stabbings in camden in one night leaving 2 people dead, the oldest victim was 20 year old Sadiq Adan Mohamed who was hacked to death by what witnessess described as a samuria sword, there has been a rise in the ammount violent crimes in the city capital since 2015 and especailly the amount of knife crime. in 2015 there was reportedly around 25,000 incidents of knife crime wheras in 2017 that figure increased by over 10,000 at around 37,000.

Image result for london stabbingthere have been several calls for police to bring stop and search back in order for police to be able to lower the amount of people carrying knifes, this would also pose as a deterant for people to carry knifes and other offencive weapons however the root of the problem does not lie in the fact that teenagers and men are carrying knifes, its the fact that teenagers feel the need to arm themselves with these weapons.

accoriding to london.gov.uk since 2010-2011 over 22 million has been cut from council youth services and "
Half the councils who were able to tell me about future budgets were planning to make more cuts in 2017/18" which show that though the government is trying to combat knife crimeby givingChart showing that knife crime has dropped but is rising again in England and Wales youths prison sentences, which is all well and good but if the youths had more things to do in thier local area it would atleast give them a shelter from the gang violence and place to spend thier time and make friends creating a positive community, i myslef went to a youth club when i was young and i made a lot of friends through the sports and activities we played

the mother of the victim begged any one who was in possession of a knife to stop and think, this is her second son to have died from knife crime,
