barnados advert


this advert shows a time lapse going backwards through a persons life in therapy, it starts of with the phrase "it doesn't have to end as it started", the advert then shows relapse of the persons life showing the contrast of how he first started counselling to how he ended up this is used in order to show how the charity which he was using had helped him through this transition.

throughout the advert the lighting lowers itself, it starts off with the older version of the character with a large amount of lighting on them and the whole set was a lot lighter in general then as the advert progresses the lighting gets dimer and dimer in order to empathise the characters feelings

the trailer uses close up shots in order to show the characters emotions for example in the last frames of the advertisement the character is a small boy curled into to a ball, the camera zooms in, in order to show how the scared the child was
